RYLANDS B bowls team will be hoping to make amends for their A team's loss this weekend.
The Gorsey Lane B team face St Oswalds A in Warrington and North Cheshire Bowls Association's Silcock Cup Final at Orford War Memorial on Saturday at 2pm.
But the A team lost to Cadishead Cons 256-240 in the league's other premier knockout, the Challenge Cup, at the weekend.
Rylands B, who play in Section D of the Monday league and Section C of the Friday league, will have a 45-chalk start in the Silcock Cup Final with the competition's handicap system but some of the town's top bowlers in the ranks of double title-chasing St Oswalds will be hoping to rise to the challenge.

Rylands A got off to a great start in Saturday's Challenge Cup Final with the first two blocks, P Birmingham and J Russell, winning 21-8 and 21-9.
But Cadishead went on to seal seven of the 12 matches, with Dave Yates winning the man of the match award for his 21-16 success against F Smith.
Rylands' other winners were M Parker, 21-11, and C Grimes, 21-18.
