BIG Bar is no longer for sale, the Guardian has been told.
An advert had been placed for sale of the Bridge Street bar in the Guardian, quoting a price of £975,000.
The advert said the pub had a turnover of £600,000 and considerable potential for expansion'.
The contact number was for Cavendish Tate surveyors in Wolverhampton but they did not return phone calls.
The manageress Melissa Hickson said the owner had withdrawn the property from sale when the Guardian called on Tuesday.
The licence is listed as belonging to Paul Emery from Todmorden, and the owning company as Big Bar Company Limited, which is owned by John Hughes from Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire.
