THE Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian competition returns this week - and once again the search has begun for a genuine hometown boy and girl to represent the town.
Last year readers voted in their thousands by text message and by phone to ensure their favourites made the live final.
And it was Lee Payton, aged 20, from Bewsey and Padgate girl Stacey Mullins, aged 18, who were crowned Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian 2006.
The winners of Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian 2007 will be the faces of the paper for the year to come.
Up for grabs is your own professional portfolio of modelling shots provided by the Warrington Guardian.
And so that you will be looking your best for the photoshoot, the two winners will also win £100 each to spend in the Golden Square Shopping Centre and a free makeover at Andrew Moran Hairdressing.
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives within Warrington borough boundaries.
Perhaps you have a beautiful daughter who deserves the title? Or an unsuspected boyfriend you think should step forward?
The winners do not have to be a couple and each competitor should send in his or her entry separately.
Simply post the form printed in this week's Warrington Guardian with a photo(s) to: Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian, The Academy, 138 Bridge Street, Warrington, WA1 2RU or e-mail your photos separately to ndocking@guardiangrp.co.uk.
The deadline for your entries is Friday, August 24 and usual Warrington Guardian competition rules apply.
