POP Idol stars Sam and Mark joined youngsters from Warrington in lessons at Cheshire Riding School.
The BBC TV duo visited the equestrian centre in Comberbach to film children's summer show Do Something Different.
Producers selected the riding school to show children's riding activities including pony club games, gymkhana and other riding activities.
And six of its members were chosen to take part with presenters Sam and Mark, who were also given riding lessons.
Cheshire Riding School and Hacking Centre started in 1999. It relocated to its new purpose-built equestrian centre near Northwich 18 months ago, which has two indoor and a number of outdoor arenas, more than 70 horses and ponies including liveries, café, tack shop and saddlery, lecture room and set in 130 acres of countryside.
The centre is open seven days a week.
