TEE'D up golfers have swung in to action to help raise bundles of cash for St Rocco's Hospice.
Scottish and Southern Energy, who run Fiddler's Ferry Power Station and Rybrook Jaguar both held golf days for the hospice.
And altogether they have managed to raise more than £19,000.
The Scottish and Southern charity golf day donated £11,000 of the £33,000 raised from their day.
The sum brought the amount the business has donated to St Rocco's through their golf days in the past seven years to £42,000.
Meanwhile, Rybrook Jaguar's St Rocco's Golf Day managed to raise more than £8,000.
Brian Magee, managing director of Rybrook Jaguar, said: "The St Rocco's Golf Day is one of the biggest charity golf days in the region and has become extremely popular with golfers of all abilities, attracting 30 teams to this year's event."
