David: What a great question! A constiuency MP should spend the majority of his or her time focussed on the constiuency, not on trying to get promoted in parliament. I believe that miss Southworth has one of the most positive Blair voting records of any Labour member. If you ask me that question after I have been your MP you will find that I vote for Warrington, not for the Conservative party. I mentioned earlier that Warrington recieves £60pp less than the national average on healthcare. In other towns, their MP would spend their time lobbying to make sure this does not happen. That is what you would get with me.
Jo: Similar to David, the MP's role is to be the constiuents representative and this means working at Westminster for Warrington. We've mentioned already healthcare, dentists, transportation links - big issues that affect people in Warrington, on which our current MP appears to be silent. I will not be following Helen Southworth's example should I take her seat on the green benches at the next general election.
