A HOUSE was guarded by police after a dawn drugs raid.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at an address on Hume Street, Fairfield after officers swooped on Tuesday morning.
But police remained at the house to carry out forensic tests and gather evidence-including a quantity of drugs- until 8pm.
The man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity.
A spokesman for Warrington police said: "The 34-year-old man was bailed pending further police inquiries."
