WARRINGTON Borough Bowls Club clinched a shock 19-13 win against reigning champions Calderdale in Federation League One on Sunday.
Warrington had lost their last two matches but will now stay in the top division if they defeat South Derbyshire in August.
Dave Fisher won 21-5, with Tony Smith and Brian Lewis both clinching 21-7 victories in Warrington's home-leg triumph against Calderdale at Tetley before John Burley won 21-2 in the return leg in Halifax.
