Biography submitted by China White.
China White take influences from bands such as Massive Attack, Tricky, Funkadelic/Parliament, Eric B & Rakim, Happy Mondays, acid house and electronica dub artists such as Lee Scratch Perry and the Mad Professor.
The two core members Liam Croker and Antony Egerton have spent the last 18 months writing, recording and working with a wide range of musicians to create the unique and very recognisable China White sound.
Since taking their band to a live stage last July at Manchester's Roadhouse they have received national and international recognition.
They have signed a two-album distribution deal (EP and full-length album) with Toronto based record label SoMuchSoul Records and have also had one of their songs featured on this year's Teenage Kicks album which was released on January 27.
They have had local radio play (Clint Boon XFM, Wire FM) and have received rave reviews in their local press. At the moment China White are concentrating on playing live and writing and recording new material for their new album.
