PARKING problems around Whitecross were top of the agenda for residents who met with police.
The issue was brought up at a community action meeting, organised by Cheshire Police, which attracted 30 residents who had their say about crime issues affecting them. Residents also complained about graffiti and litter.
PC Dave Barnes joined Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) Kathryn Harkin and Victoria Rimmer at the event at Whitecross Community Centre.
PCSO Harkin said: "It is encouraging to see so many turning up to talk about any problems that are affecting their quality of life."
Now police in the area will be stepping up patrols to tackle illegal parking and motorists will be told about where they can and can't park.
