THE Butterfly Project is hoping that their numbers come in as staff at a Warrington bingo hall hope to raise a bundle for the charity.

Gala Bingo staff have been jumping out of planes and walking from Warrington to Widnes, all in aid of the Warrington Guardian's charity of the year. Bingo players have even been getting in on the act and have been giving generously in collections.

And Mark Worsfold, the club manager is hoping to go one step further by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in December for the charity.

The 44-year-old said: "It really is a brilliant project which helps so many families in the Warrington area and all the Gala staff are thoroughly enjoying being involved."

So far the club has managed to raise more than £1,000 towards the project and Mark is hoping to add another £10,000 to that figure with his 5,895m trek in Tanzania.
