CHILDREN from St Matthew’s Pre-School in Stretton were treated to ice cream on their last day of term.
The leavers’ ceremony on July 20 also featured a short concert and review of the year.
All youngsters at the pre-school, which is based in the church hall on Stretton Road, were presented with a certificate and book.
Staff wished children ‘the best of luck at big school’ at the event, with many parents and grandparents in attendance.
The ice cream treats were provided by Daresbury Ice Cream Farm.
Places are available at the site from September.
