A MAN who is writing a book on the history of a Dallam railway shed is trying to contact two people.
Steve Wakefield has already received a lot of help from people in the town with information on Shed 8B. He is creating a book for his father, who used to work at the shed and celebrates his 75th birthday soon.
He said: "I have had offers of help from people as young as 16 and as old as 85. I was so pleased to see that so many people are interested in preserving the history of Warrington.
"My dad has actually made contact with one of the guys he worked with."
Mr Wakefield is now trying to get in touch with Eddie Bellas, who has photographs of the GT3 train, and Roy Spike' Adkin, who had also sent him some photos but with no contact details for him to call or post the pictures back to.
If they or anyone else has more information about Shed 8B, contact Steve by e-mailing shed8b@yahoo.co.uk or calling 01793 349875.
