LIVERPOOL Reserves are likely to have to wait until October 2 to play their first game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Liverpool announced last week that they would be playing their Barclays Premier Reserve League (North) games in Warrington and Sunderland will be the first visitors to The Halliwell Jones Stadium according to a provisional fixture list released this week.

But that game is not likely to take place until October, with the Champions League commitments of Liverpool's first team getting in the way of any potential fixture dates before then.

Newcastle are then scheduled to visit on October 25 with the big games against Everton and Manchester United on December 4 and February 26 respectively.

Eight of the nine home games are currently pencilled in for Tuesday nights at 7pm and tickets will cost £5 for adults and £2 for under 16s and pensioners.

But all fixtures are subject to change depending on first-team commitments and further games in two cup competitions could yet take place in Warrington.
