TEN brewery employees have appeared in court accused of stealing thousands of pounds' worth of beer.
The men, seven from Warrington, denied the charges at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday and will stand trial on November 12.
They are accused of stealing beer and lager worth between £2,000 and £4,000 at Carlsberg Tetley in Golborne last year.
They are Stephen Price, aged 41, of Shaws Avenue, Orford; Garry Smith, aged 42, of Hollow Drive, Stockton Heath; Darren Cann, aged 39, of Windermere Avenue, Orford; Damien Farnworth, aged 46, of Penketh Road, Great Sankey, Warrington; Joseph Finney, aged 52, of Wednesbury Drive, Great Sankey; Darren Heesom, aged 39, of Manchester Road and Neil Hennessy, aged 36, of Lindsworth Close, Great Sankey.
The other three charged are Roy James, aged 35, of Wigan; Robert Lake, aged 38, of St Helens and Alan McCormack, aged 45, of Edge Hill, Liverpool.
