A 17-YEAR-OLD from Stockton Heath is in the running to scoop the prestigious Miss Cheshire title.
Rachael Woollam will take on entrants from across the county in the final showdown at the Park Royal Hotel in Stretton on Sunday.
The Priestley College student is raising money for children's charity Variety as part of the pageant and has raised around £150 so far by taking part in several fundraisers, including a sponsored run.
She also went into Bridgewater High School – where she previously studied – to speak to pupils about the charity.
"This is my first pageant and I have really enjoyed it so far," she said.
The winner of Miss Cheshire will have a shot at reaching the Miss England grand final.
