SELFLESS residents and parish councillors gave up their time to clean up Stockton Heath during a 'great British spring clean'.
Last month's event, which was organised by Stockton Heath Parish Council, saw volunteers make their way to Ackers Pit, London Road, Alexandra Park and The Forge over three days.
During the clean-up operation, they cleared bags of rubbish, discarded carrier bags and used nappies, as well as unblocking drainage grids.
The Friends of Alexandra Park also opened up the pavilion to the volunteers for a welcome cuppa and biscuit during a well-earned break.
Each event at the different locations lasted around two hours.
