I've decided to call it a day on the blog.
I'm not such a beginner anymore and it's getting harder to do regular updates.
I don't want the blog to become a chore for me or anyone that reads it.
And I don't want there to be hardly any updates.
So this will be the final entry, and the blog will probably stay before being taken down at some point in the future.
Here's some stats.
There's been 50 posts, 68 reader comments, 5833 page impressions, 900 miles of commuting, five punctures, two falls, approx £650 spent, and one mysterious upper thigh injury.
So thanks to everyone who has read it.
Still, I've ended as I started.
I had a rear puncture last night and trudged through the rain to Sankey train station, only to hear a car beep in the car park.
Web editor Dave Chana had seen my pathetic walk and took pity on me with a lift home.
Then, at home, reconnecting the rear tyre to the gears was proving too difficult for me, so I had to ask for a hand from my sister's boyfriend.
And this morning I got soaked to the skin by the rain.
That kind of sums up the past six months - rain, punctures and being baffled by the mechanics of the bike.
Actually, that's a lie.
It's also been about cycling in the sun, getting fit, and just enjoying getting out of the traffic jams.
I'd recommend it to everyone.
