YOUNGSTERS from Stockton Heath Primary School got their football kit on to show off their talents at Liverpool FC's academy.
Year five and six pupils made their way to the venue for the LFC Premier League Schools' Cup on February 8.
After a day of action, the school, which is based on West Avenue, finished fourth in the tournament out of seven schools.
PE leader Simon Dow said: "The tournament was a fantastic opportunity for the children to attend the Liverpool FC academy and play against schools from all over Merseyside.
"The academy staff ensured that all the children enjoyed the experience and it is something that they will remember for a long time to come."
