WHAT'S happened to our summer?
Could the weather get any more miserable?
Monday mornings are often a chore - a whole week's work is stretching before you.
But how much better are Monday mornings when the sun is shining and the sky is blue and you leap out of bed (well that's a slight exaggeration) with a smile on your face looking forward to the challenges of the day.
Not today though.
The streets are sodden, the gardens are waterlogged and everyone is in danger of resembling a soggy Glastonbury reject.
The puddle in the road outside Sir Thomas Boteler High School this morning was of swimming pool proportions and the car park of Warrington Collegiate wasn't much better.
You needed a 4x4 at the very least to get through it.
The start of Wimbledon should mean hot sunny days, parched tennis courts and strawberries and champagne (with some good tennis thrown in, of course).
However, tennis fans have been warned to brace themselves for four days of rain.
I doubt even Cliff Richard will be able to cheer them up if it continues like this.
