YOUNGSTERS at St Monica’s Pre-School are enjoying new features on their outdoor play area following a £10,000 funding boost.
The school, on St Monica’s Close, has refurbished its foundation stage play area after receiving the money from the National Lottery.
A wooden canopy, water wall, dig pit and water table have been installed for the children as part of the work.
Parent Eva Noone said her children Connie, three, and Iris, four, are benefiting from the improvements.
The pre-school is inviting families to attend a ‘stay and play’ session next Friday, December 2.
