THE Mayor of Warrington has passed on his wishes of peace and happiness to all those celebrating Diwali after the Hindu festival of lights took place on Sunday, October 30.
Cllr Faisal Rashid has issued the message to residents in Warrington and beyond.
He said: “I would like to wish a happy Diwali to all the Hindus, Sikhs and everyone else celebrating, in Warrington and around the world.
“I hope you had a wonderful day and that your Diwali celebrations this season are filled with peace and lots of happiness.”
