STOCKTON Heath Primary School pupils have helped raise awareness of what life can be like for anyone living with a disability.
Youngsters at the school, on West Avenue, took part in their very own disability awareness day on October 7.
Each year group focused on a different disability in order to 'share learning and experiences'.
Tom Coleridge, from Warrington Disability Partnership, also delivered an 'open and inspirational' talk in an assembly.
It gave kids the chance to hear about his experiences of living with a physical disability.
Year four and five children also participated in wheelchair rugby, with sessions run by Liverpool Lions Wheelchair Rugby Club.
Among those helping the pupils was player-manager Martin Beddis.
Deputy head teacher Jennie McAleny praised the youngsters for their response to the awareness day.
She said: "As part of our personal, social, health and economic curriculum, we wanted to spend quality time educating children about a range of different disabilities so they have a better understanding of them.
"Hopefully, this will help to increase their awareness, tolerance and empathy towards people living with a disability."
