Donkey races took place throughout the day
FAMILIES turned out in force for Warrington RUFC's ruck 'n' roll music and beer festival last Saturday.
The event, which also featured the Stockton Heath Donkey Derby, was held at Warrington Sports Club, on Walton Lea Road.
More than 500 residents got the chance to take part in donkey races, watch rugby and enjoy live music throughout the day.
Andy Kellett, chairman of the event's organising committee, said: "This was a fantastic event and I would like to thank all those volunteers who made it possible, from the Scouts who provided the hot food to the people who ran the stalls and the tireless workforce who put it all together.
"The weather helped to ensure its success and I am already looking forward to next year."
