YOUNGSTERS were thrilled to see two Sale Sharks stars drop in to their Walton rugby club to offer some top tips.
Mike Haley and Curtis Langdon joined around 25 kids at the Premiership club's latest camp, which took place at Warrington RUFC, on Walton Lea Road.
England under-20 hooker Langdon and England senior squad member Haley were joined by the team's award-winning community coaching team at The Fortress ground for the special session.
Boys and girls, aged between seven and 12, spent two days working on core skills including running, evasion, handling, kicking and tackling, as well as decision-making in attack and defence.
After scraping the mud from their knees, the rugby-mad youngsters got the chance to ask their heroes whatever they wanted in a Q&A session before posing for a memorable picture.
Darren Lamon, lead coach for the Sale Sharks at the camps, said: "The camps this summer have been a huge success and Warrington was no exception.
"The kids loved spending time with Mike and Curtis and it was fantastic to see how much they learned from training with their heroes."
First-team players from the club attended 18 sessions across the region throughout the summer.
