POLICE are clamping down on motorists who commit offences in Rixton and Glazebrook.
In the past few weeks warning notices have been issued to people driving off road, without due care and attention, or in a manner likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to the public.
If anyone issued with a warning commits a similar offence again in the next 12 months they risk having their vehicle seized.
The crackdown comes after complaints from villagers about youths on off-road motorbikes and mini-motos using footpaths and parks.
If anyone has information on these incidents call Risley Police Station on 0845 458 6390.
Report new incidents on 0845 458 0000.
