CHILDREN at Longbarn Primary School have a new trail to make sure they can enjoy their playtime.

The trail, a combination of different types of play equipment, was opened at a special ceremony for governors and children.

Governor and councillor Colin Oliver said: "I thought it was really great.

"The kids got to try the equipment out on the night and they absolutely adore it.

"They have already used it a lot and they will do through the summer.

"It is not just a play area. It helps with the balance and coordination of the children that use it."

Also at the ceremony was chairman of the governors, Doug Morton.
