CHILDREN climbed aboard a bus with a difference to help save then environment.
The youngsters at St Barnabas CE Primary School joined pupils across the country to take part in National Walk To School Week by hopping on board a walking bus.
The event is now in its 11th year and is a way to encourage parents and their children to give up the usual school run and walk to school instead, to help reduce the amount of fumes that cars create on the daily school run.
All the children took part, wearing high visibility jackets, and the effort was said to be a great success.
