Crews tackle garden fire in early hours today
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a garden fire at a property off Sandy Lane West in the early hours today, Sunday.
On arrival to the scene, close to Winwick Road, the crews found a small building in the garden on fire and a hose reel jet was used to put it out at 2.33am.
It comes a day after firefighters were called to Bridge Lane in Appleton at 5.31pm to put out a 'small fire'.
