Plans for Starbucks drive-thru resubmitted

BLUEPRINTS to build a Starbucks drive-thru at Burtonwood Services have been resubmitted after they were refused due to 'insufficient and conflicting information'.

A planning application was submitted to Warrington Borough Council seeking permission to build the facility earlier this year.

But a spokesman for the planning authority said details of the proposed elevation treatment, floor plans, materials of construction and signage on the building were not submitted.

He said: "Despite written request the outstanding information has not been received and it is not therefore possible to carry out an assessment of the scheme, to determine whether it is in accordance with the development plan."

It is understood that this information has since been handed over to the council with the fate of application to be decided in the coming weeks.
