VICTIMS of disability hate crime have urged to break their silence and speak out.
Cheshire Police is encouraging victims of these types of offences to take the time to report the crime.
Inspector Ian Stead from Cheshire Constabulary’s Partnership Unit said, “Anyone who experiences abuse as a result of their disability should contact the police, and if you feel under threat please call 999.
“There are support services available to anyone who suffers a hate crime."
