A FREE grotto and winter wonderland has opened at Fearnhead Cross Centre.
The grotto at the Insall Road community centre will be open on weekdays until December 17 from 9am-12pm and 1-4pm.
Kids get a free selection box at the grotto, which the Blackbrook Community Association has been running for the last seven years.
The grotto will also be open until 6pm on Thursday December 10 and between 10am-2pm on Saturday December 12.
Centre volunteer Sue Emery said: “It’s phenomenal – it’s all free and every child gets a selection box from Father Christmas.
“We’ve transformed the centre into a grotto with things like an enchanted forest – you name it, it’s there.
“You’ve got to see it to believe it, it’s fabulous.”
