LABOUR'S Helen Jones has been told to 'start behaving' like an MP following a sarcastic tweet on Saturday.
The Warrington North MP, along with Warrington South's Conservative MP David Mowat, has been urged to vote against plans to carry out air strikes in Syria, which will be decided following a 10-hour House of Commons debate today, Wednesday.
But on Saturday she angered many after tweeting: "Big turnout for planned #stopthewar demonstration outside my constituency surgery this morning."
It was published alongside a picture shot at Westbrook Library, without anybody in sight.

One Twitter user responded by telling Mrs Jones not to be sarcastic, while another said she wasn't there because the MP 'won't listen'.
Another said: "Start behaving like a member of parliament, somebody elected to represent their constituents.
"You need to have a serious think."
Campaigners, who have continued to 'beg' Mrs Jones and Mr Mowat to vote against the attacks this week, took to the town centre on Saturday to speak to residents.
