INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing after a 24-year-old man received serious facial injuries following a town centre attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the serious assault on Saturday at 1am at Level Bar on Rylands Street.
The incident happened shortly after two men entered the bar where they struck up a conversation with four unknown men.
One of these four men is alleged to have punched the victim once to the left side of his face knocking him to the floor where he was also kicked in the stomach.
The victim – a 24 year old man from Pembrokeshire – received serious facial injuries.
The offender is described as white, in his mid-20s, around 6ft 4ins and of slim build with facial stubble.
He had short dark spikey hair and was wearing a white long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up.
