A MUM of six, who saw her life spiral out of control as she struggled to escape from the grips of her alcohol addiction, has been reunited with her children after turning her life around.
Sharron Price, of Dalton Bank, has been determined to make her children proud after conquering her demons 13 years ago.
Having previously rebuilt a relationship with her two eldest children, Khelsi, aged 25, and Khane, aged 23, her prayers were finally answered when she was reunited with her other three children.
The 46-year-old, who also has a seven-year-old son Jack, is now back in the lives of her three children, aged 22, 20 and 17.
The former Culcheth High School pupil said: “I can’t believe I can finally say this but I have found the rest of my children.
“I already had Khelsi and Khane in my life and I have my youngest Jack.
“But my 17-year-old daughter got in touch with Khelsi on my birthday.
“It was the best birthday present. I have never cried so much in my life and I met her the day after.”
The beauty therapist had already published an appeal on Facebook to find her three children and weeks later she was able to trace her final two sons.
Since then Sharron has been unable to stop smiling.
She said: “I sat them down and I said I hope you have forgiven me and they said forgiven you?
“Look at you mum and what you have done with your life and how you have managed to turn it around.
“You could still be a drunk and we could be totally ashamed of you but we’re not.”
Sharron started to hit the bottle following a chain of heart-breaking ordeals and unhealthy relationships.
This included the devastating news that her mum had suffered a brain haemorrhage, leaving her severely disabled.
At her worst she would down a bottle of JD in an hour and would polish off three to four bottles of three litre ciders in a day.
But more than a decade ago, Sharron finally found the strength to get sober and she has now opened a new permanent make-up studio The Jeune Room on Cairo Street in the town centre with the help of her dad, John.
This is the final step in proving to herself that she can achieve her goals despite the challenges she has faced.
