A TWITTER campaign running today looks to highlight the services Warrington Borough Council provides.
Our Day is a national campaign showing what happens in councils during a 24 hour period.
The council’s Twitter account will be using #ourday to post real-time messages from staff across the different services.
Cllr Hitesh Patel said: “We are delighted to be taking part in this year’s Our Day campaign which provides us with a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the work of the council and the 800 plus services we deliver.
“Follow us and you’ll hear from care workers to pest control officers, street light technicians to children’s support workers and many more.
“You may be used to talking to us about bins, council tax or schools but there’s so much more to Warrington Borough Council and we want to give you an insight into a typical day.
“Please get involved, send us your feedback and show your support for the people who are trying to make Warrington a better place to live and work.”
