GREAT Sankey man Brian New is running 145 miles to raise money for St Roccos and St Joseph's Family Centre in Warrington.
He takes part in the Grand Union Canal Race, Britain's longest non-stop running race from Birmingham to London, for the second time, over Bank holiday weekend, May 26 to 28.
Brian, aged 43, said: "I am hoping to finish in less than 40 hours last time it took 43 hours."
