POLICE updated Great Sankey residents on what they had done about parking problems on Thursday evenings at Sankey North Community Action Meeting in the Tim Parry Community Centre.
CSO Steve Dodd told how officers had issued penalty notices and advised drivers, and were also liasing with the borough council.
Other measures included speed camera trailers which had been used to catch speeding motorcyclists on Liverpool Road, and fencing on Barrowhall Lane to stop parents stopping to pick up their children and adding to the congestion.
