A GREAT Sankey swimmer has raised more than £100 for the BT National Swimathon for Cancer.
Aden Walker from Dorchester Road, in Great Sankey, who has learning difficulties, swam 5,000 metres, which is 400 lengths.
The 37-year-old is also doing another 5,000m swimathon in aid of Families United on April 18 at the JJB Leisure Centre.
Cheering him on will be Mayor Clr Linda Dirir (Lab), Penketh, and Warrington Wolves mascot Wolfie.
