LYMM Angling Club has helped the rivers throughout Cheshire after donating thousands of fish.
The club approached the Environment Agency asking if if they could find a suitable home for the fish from an over populated pond owned by the club.
And this week the agency released 5,000 roach, bream and perch into the Weaver near Nantwich and 1,000 into the Wheelock between Middlewich and Sandbach.
