When I was thinking about cycling in, the question was, what do I do with my clothes?
Most of the other people I see cycle in seem to be men with manual jobs already in their work clothes.
I wear a suit for work and cycling eight miles in it was not an option.
So I drove in one day with a suit and left it in the office.
I also left some deodourant, hair stuff, and aftershave.
And it seems to work well. I ride it wearing my work shift and shorts, do a quick change and a quick spruce up and I'm ready to go.
It seemed like a big task during the early days when I was too exhausted to even walk up the stairs to toilets, but now I hardly think about it.
The only problem is I have not changed my suit and trousers for a while. No-one has noticed yet but they can't be in the best condition.
But I keep putting off lugging them home.
And frankly, until someone complains, it's going to stay that way!
