These proposals will not initially save money. Indeed we need to invest money in primary care if we are to deliver better patient care. GPs can often provide quick and effective health care to patients but at present don't have the facilities or services to do this. More money will be spent on health care and less on buildings and unnecessary hospital admissions.
In summary we aim to improve services available to patients locally.
