Treatment Room services are provided by PCT nurses in some practices but not others. So some GPs pay for this service from their own resources whilst others receive this from the PCT. this is not equitable nor provides the best value for money.
The PCT is planning to reprovide the service in a smaller number of locations to meet patient needs and ensure we spend your money better.
