KERRY Katona has given a women-only gym a boost ahead of its one-year birthday.
The celebrity popped into Exclusive Fitness For Women to chat to instructors about how to lose her post-baby weight.
"Kerry only gave birth to Heidi about four weeks ago and shouldn't train until at least seven," said co-owner Tracey Wrench.
"But she got a good feel for the place and we showed her some programmes that she could do.
"I think she came to us because we're a female-only gym so people can get fit and lose weight without feeling intimidated."
The gym in Norman Street kicks off a week-long first birthday celebration today, Sunday.
Tracey and business partner Kim Green set it up after Fitness First closed down leaving members and staff with nowhere comfortable to go.
But a report in the Warrington Guardian drew their attention to vacant premises elsewhere and they decided to take the plunge.
"It was scary at first but it has turned out to be the best thing we ever did," Tracey added.
