A GREAT Sankey man has been jailed for six months after admitting several driving offences and being drunk and disorderly.
Neil Wood, from Hood Lane, in Sankey Bridges, appeared before Warrington Crown Court on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old was spotted driving a Volkswagen Golf erratically in Orford Road, Longford, and pulled over in Poplars Avenue in December.
He failed a breath test and was found to be driving without insurance and while disqualified.
On February 11, he swung out with a clenched fist as police arrested him after they were called to East Avenue in Stockton Heath at 2am.
Magistrates handed him a five-year ban.
