WARREN Brown is fast becoming one of the town's most famous exports after gracing our screens again.

The 27-year-old, from Westbrook, has been busy with an appearance in BBC One's Casualty last Saturday and ITV drama Mobile.

Warren said: "Working on Mobile was amazing because the cast included John Thomson, Keith Allen and Jamie Draven - with fellow actors like that it made me feel my acting was getting better and better; that I'm going somewhere."

In the three-part thriller, Warren played friend and fellow soldier to main character Maurice, whose wife and son are killed in a hit and run by a driver talking on a mobile phone which prompts him to wipe out mobiles with violence.

Warren added: "When I read the script I was chuffed because it said it was set in Kuwait so I thought I'd be getting an overseas trip. In the end it was filmed on Southport beach."

Since hanging up his gloves, the former world champion Thai boxer has furthered his acting career playing one of the Maguire brothers in series two of Shameless and most memorably as evil date rapist Andy Holt in Hollyoaks, a character who came to a gruesome end.

The final episode of Mobile is on ITV at 9pm tonight, Monday.
