TWO men have been arrested after reports of alloy wheels being stolen by from a car in Newton.
Alloy wheels had been stolen from a vehicle parked on Belvedere Road at around 2.15pm on March 20. Police stopped a van on Crow Lane West, when the stolen alloys were recovered.
A 39-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, both from Newton, have been arrested for theft from a motor vehicle. Both have been bailed to appear at St Helens Police Station on May 22.
