DOG owners will have to fork out more to reclaim a lost dog from April 1.
St Helens Dog Control Service has announced that the cost to reclaim a dog will rise to £72.50 from Sunday. The increase is to cover the rise in kennelling costs charged to the council.
If you lose a dog or find a stray dog call the Dog Control Service on 01744 456338.
