PROGRESS is being made on centre for teenagers near United Utilities in Lingley Mere, said Brenda Bradlee, of Great Sankey North Residents' Association.
Talks are at early stage but it is hoped a site, inspired by Our Wood in Great Sankey, which was created by schoolchildren, can be set aside to give older youths somewhere to go. United Utilities and the police are working on the project, and it is hoped engineering students from Great Sankey High School will help with the design of the facility.
