APPLETON Brownies took the plunge to raise £500 for Marie Curie cancer charity.
The 5th Appleton Brownies raised the cash with a sponsored swimathon last Sunday at Woolston leisure centre.
All proceeds will be given to cancer sufferers. Jill Hodgson, Guider with the 5th Appleton Brownies, said: "They all really swam their best and had a great time too."
